Action Concept

In 1992 Action Concept Film- and Stuntproduction was founded by Hermann Joha in Düsseldorf. In Germany they are the most wanted firm, when stuntsscenes for movie or television have to be made. Their slogan is: "Action Is Life - The Rest Are Just Details!".   They got especially famous by the great succes of "Alarm für Cobra 11" in 1996. Next they made also in 1996 the actionmovie "Der Clown". Since 1998 "Der Clown" is also broadcasted as a serie on RTL Televsion. In march 2000 the start was made with broadcasting of the serie "Die Motorrad-Cops - Hart am Limit", the third actionserie which is made and produced by Action Concept. In 1998/1999 Action Concept also made the action-movie "Der Träumer und das wilde Mädchen - Hetzjagd durch Deutschland". This film was broadcasted by RTL Television in november 1999. In february/march 2000 Action Concept filmed another movie. This time it is an action-comedy, called "Der Superbulle und die Halbstarken". The movie was broadcasted on television at the end of october 2000.

To keep up with the level of the stunts around the world Action Concept keeps good contacts with american stuntteams, who made action-movies as "Terminator" and "Speed". They also bought a computersystem with which spectacular special effects can be created. With this for example aids in a stunt can be removed from the recordings. Action Concept also have their own cameras and digital editing facilities. Whit this they can record the actionscenes and put them together as an independent film-unit.

By investmens in modern equipment from the USA Action Concept is according to what they say capable to work on an "international stuntlevel". This can do no other stuntteam in Germany. A few examples: air-ramps launch stuntmen in the air. Whit the Ratchet-system they are pulled away out of explosions by a steel rope. They are also investing in the safety of the stuntmen. With for example roll-barrs, special protection in cars and special rope-systems there is taken care for that the stuntmen can do their job as safe as possible.
