With mesmerizing good looks, charm and talent, German-born actor Christian Oliver is poised to make the transition from young heartthrob to leading man.
Christian recently completed production on the independent film “A LIGHT IN THE FORREST” starring with Lindsay Wagner and Franchise Pictures’ thriller “KEPT” in which he stars opposite Ice T as a young architect student who becomes entangled in a murder mystery. He also starred in the international action film “ULTIMATE FIGHT,” which is about two brothers, both of whom are kick-boxers, involved in a struggle for survival and brotherhood who, unfortunately fall for the same girl.
Oliver also starred in the HBO/Overseas Filmgroup romantic comedy “EAT YOUR HEART OUT” opposite Laura San Giacomo (“Just Shoot Me”) for director Felix Adlon. He plays a young successful chef who hosts his own television show and gets more than he bargained for when his naïve charm makes him an overnight sensation. He can also be seen in Columbia Pictures’ “THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB” for director Melanie Mayron (“thirtysomething”), which is based on the best-selling series of novels.
Oliver’s television credits include “UNDRESSED,” a series regular role on NBC’s “SAVED BY THE BELL” and appearances on Studio USA’s “SLIDERS,” as well as Pamela Anderson’s nationally syndicated series “V.I.P.” He has also recently produced a short film titled “STUCK IN MY HEAD.”
Oliver stays fit by participating in an array of land and water sports including sky diving, boxing and soccer. Creatively, he enjoys painting, photography, cooking and music. An extensive traveler, Christian has developed an appreciation for different cultures, languages and lifestyles. He speaks fluent French, English and German.
Born in Celle, Germany, Oliver relocated to the United States. Arriving in New York City with the intent of pursing a career in advertising, he quickly opted to pursue a career as an actor. Oliver has studied the craft in New York, Los Angeles and Frankfurt. His stage experience includes “Taming of the Shrew,” “Candide” and the lead role in the Los Angeles production of “The Lover.” |
